Live Surgery: Endoscopic Plexus Surgery for Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (nTOS)
Neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome (nTOS) is a condition in which nerves in the area between the neck and shoulder (the thoracic outlet) become compressed. This can lead to symptoms such as pain, tingling, weakness, or numbness in the arm and hand.
During an endoscopic plexus surgery, these nerves are decompressed using a minimally invasive (keyhole) technique. This minimizes damage to the surrounding tissue and typically results in a faster recovery compared to open surgery.
