Preparation

• Remove the cap from the tube.
• Squeeze out a drop of liquid to lubricate the tip. This makes it easier to insert.
• Sit on the toilet.

Administration

• Gently insert the tip of the Microlax tube into your anus.
• Squeeze the tube completely empty.
• While keeping the tube squeezed, gently remove it to prevent the liquid from flowing back.

After administration

• Stay seated on the toilet for 5 to 10 minutes to keep the liquid inside your bowel.
• Usually, you will have a bowel movement within 5 to 20 minutes.
