Biografie

Rob Adang studeerde geneeskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht en is opgeleid tot internist en vervolgens tot MDL-arts in het Maastricht Universitair Medisch Centrum. Sinds augustus 1998 is hij - als eerste MDL-arts - werkzaam in VieCuri Medisch Centrum. Hij is een ervaren allround MDL-arts met als aandachtsgebieden inflammatoire darmziekten (morbus Crohn en colitis ulcerosa), colorectale maligniteiten (darmkanker) en endoscopische interventies. Van maart 2013 tot oktober 2016 was hij ook werkzaam als Regionaal Coördinerend MDL-arts (RCMDL) voor Bevolkingsonderzoek Zuid en was in deze functie nauw betrokken bij de organisatie van het bevolkingsonderzoek darmkanker in de regio Zuid (Limburg en Brabant).

 

Rob Adang is gehuwd, heeft 4 kinderen, zijn hobby's zijn hardlopen, golf, fotografie, architectuur en Spaans.
